Snow in July

We drove into Rocky Mountain National Park and were amazed at how much snow was still on the mountain.  We were told it was a lot of this time of year.  Which was good for us since we got to play in it.  We found a good place to get out and play.  Pappy threw the first snowball and got a direct hit on Addison's head.  She was not too pleased with it, but it didn't take long for her to get back in the game!

 We went to another spot later in the week to play in the snow. It was COLD!  The temperature was 44 degrees and it was windy.  I am sure the wind chill had to be in the 30's.

 I just love this picture of Tim and the kids!  I am so glad my mom took it!
