For those of you dying to see...MOM...here you go! We dressed up for the Preschool Carnival. The costumes were a big hit. Two people we don't know...from church...took their picture they were so cute!

This is my favorite picture!

Glade wasn't in the best mood. We had just got him up from a nap.

I made this for Tim to take to work. I think it turned out cute!

Sneak preview

I worked on Glade and Addison's halloween costumes tonight. Here is a sneak peak of Addison wearing her hat. I think it turned out pretty cute. We will take pictures later of the finished results. I bathed them in the sink tonight. The bottom is a little slippery, but Addison seemed to really enjoy it.
Glade was not having a good night. He was really fussy. I hope he is not getting sick. I think he might be getting a tooth. He sucked his thumb all evening long.
Have a great day!

Two Cuties

I have to say we have two of the cutest kids ever! Just look at them...
Addison decided it would be fun to read the book under the swing. So she scooted herself there.
Addison playing on the floor. You can tell she is not feeling well.Glade asleep in the swing. After getting sick on his clothes we decided not to worry about clothes.Addison again, not feeling so good!Addison dressed in her Halloween outfit. She wasn't as happy about it as Glade.Glade- the camera hog!
No, he's not pulling up yet. We staged him this way, but way to go Glade for holding on!
Addison couldn't hold on standing up, but she's getting good at sitting up.
She just looks like TROUBLE!
That's all for tonight. Maybe more tomorrow.

Giggles and spoons

We are all feeling better-finally. Glade and Addison were still not feeling good yesterday. Glade got sick at school while I was on the field trip with my class, so I had to come back and take him home. He's been much better today, hopefully the bug has been exterminated!:)
I was busy yesterday rearranging furniture in the babies room. I really like how it is now, and it's not so crowded. The green chair doesn't exactly match our living room decor, but it is a very comfy chair and we need to use it!
Today I went to a craft fair and bake sale at the Christian Care Center. They had lots of neat stuff and yummy treats. I was good and didn't get a thing! All the ladies loved the babies. I should have charged for looking at the babies-we could've made a fortune! After the show we went to lunch at Cheddars. Glade and Addison are doing so good sitting in the high chairs. We gave Glade a big soup spoon and he had so much fun holding it, chewing it, and banging it on the table. Addison thought he was funny because she kept laughing at him. They both were talking to each other. It's just so cute!
I am off to bed. I hope to get some pictures posted tomorrow.

Tummy Troubles X 4

Yep, you guessed it. We all got the dreaded stomach bug. Saturday I spend most of the day in bed. I have such a wonderful husband he took care of everything and he kept me hydrated with Sprite and Coke! I wouldn't have made it without him. We all spend the day sunday lounging around the house. Addison and Glade are feeling much better today, they woke up at 5:30 ready to eat. Addison threw up again this morning, but seems better this evening. Hopefully this bug is out of our house.
Glade has a new favorite toy-he loves the links that hook together to make a chain. He can play with them for a long time. Sometimes he hits himself with them but he doesn't seem to mind.
Addison can smile even while sick. I love her sweet little smile. She would throw up all over me and then smile.
I remember mom's grape juice when I was sick. Now I'm the mom!
It's bath time!

Tummy Troubles

Addison has had the stomach bug the last few days. We have all had to change clothes more than once-well four times actually. She was better yesterday, but then this evening she got sick again. So, she is back to drinking pedialyt. She seems to like it. The dr. suggested limiting food for a while. He also recommended using soy formula for a few days. I think it is easier to digest? So she had a little of that before bedtime. I can tell her tummy is not feeling well, she is definitely not eating like normal. I wouldn't either after puking everything up! So far we have had to wash lots of burp rags, 4 sets of clothes today, the seat cover for the exersaucer and the seat cover for the swing. Hopefully that part is over!
Well, I am off to bed. The Buckeyes have a big game tomorrow and it's early than the last few weeks.

GO BUCKS!

I made another slide show. These are all the pictures we had taken for the babies 6 month birthday.

It is going to be so hard to choose which ones to print. I love them all.

Back on Schedule

After being with Grammy and Pappy on vacation, Glade and Addison are back on schedule. It only took a day or so! We are so blessed to have such good babies.

They are growing so fast. They are 7 months old now! I can't believe how fast the time is going. Addison is so funny. She doesn't get as mad when she is on her belly, she is really trying to crawl. Her arms are working, she just can't get her legs into the mix. So she just turns around in circles. She rolls a lot too. It gets her there though. Glade won't be far behind her. He is rolling over good now and even rolls over in his sleep. I will go in and find him up on his arms just smiling up at me. It's precious. Addison has gotten really bad about fighting going to sleep. She will move her head back and forth in an effort to keep herself awake. She is such a spaz!

Here are some more cute pictures taken this week. Glade was in the mood for pictures. Addison was not. I was lucky to get the few I did get of her with Glade.

Our First Vacation

We took our first vacation with the babies last week. We went to Eureka Springs, Arkansas with my parents. The babies did so good traveling. A few things I learned on the trip will help for future vacations :)
1. Don't lose the key to luggage carrier-thanks Dad!
2. Don't forget the wipes. Addison had several dirty diapers on the way there and I forgot to pack wipes in the diaper bag. Oops! Thankfully the truck stop had some!
3. I can fit in smaller spaces than I thought! The back seat was packed, and I fit!
4. When a brochure says 450 steps to the lake-don't believe them! The hike to the lake was far more than 450 steps and almost straight down the hill. BUT- I did it and I made it back up!
5. There are weirdos in every place- we went to downtown Eureka Springs and some hillbillies tried to sing, my dad could have done better, but someone still gave them $7. Maybe I should start singing on the street!
6. The Passion Play isn't so good when performed in the middle of a thunderstorm.
7. Roller coasters are still fun! Tim and I went to Silver Dollar City in Branson. We rode every ride in the park. Our favorite one we rode 4 times!
8. Pumpkin Butter is really good.
9. The water in Arkansas is VERY cold.
10. The best kind of vacation is one where you don't do much of anything!

Here is Glade after a nap on Grammy and Pappy's bed. Glade in the lake. Look at his face. I don't think he likes it.
Mom, the babies and me- standing next to the river. You could feel the cold coming off the water.
Addison likes the trees. She picked leaves.
A cute picture of Addison.
Daddy with his two babies. Aren't they cute?
Glade was Pappy's "bubba"
They have really started interacting with each other.
She's just SO cute!

Here we are on our first stop on the way home. Only about 10 minutes from our cabin and Addison had a dirty diaper-she also had to change clothes!
