Random Cuteness

Last Thursday night Ben and Kristina came over to watch the kiddos while we had a meeting at church. You can read more about their time that night here. KK gave them a bath and then wanted to fix Addison's hair. We don't have and "pink rollers" (you know the ones you always slept on Saturday night to have curly hair for church on Sunday...yep, those rollers!) So she did some pin curls in Addison's hair. Addison slept in them all night. I will let the pictures show you how it turned out when she woke up and I took the clips out. Here we are just playing around outside. Notice Addison's wild and curly hair. I had to wash it to be able to get a comb through it. She doesn't seem to mind, lately she has been pulling the ponytail and bow out so she ends up looking like she just woke up every where we go.

Glade loves to ride his tricycle. He can't wait for his birthday when he can get a real BIG bike! I just love this one and how great it turned out. I am having so much fun with the new camera! Now if I could only learn Photoshop Elements and how to do cool stuff to the pictures once I take them...Best Buddies- they have really started playing together and talking and pretending together. I love to sit and listen to them. They are outside playing while I am writing this post. I love that they are playing together and not screaming at each other...there is lots of that these days too!

Grammy and Pappy!

My parents came for a quick visit on Sunday and left yesterday afternoon. The kids just love having them here. Unfortunately this visit Glade and Addison were not feeling so good. Mom and Dad got some good snuggle time with them though. They stayed with them yesterday while I went to preschool. They had a choice of going to McDonald's or Chick-fil-a for lunch. Then they saw a commercial for Chuck E Cheese...guess where they went for lunch and spent two hours and 110 tokens??? Mom and Dad didn't take the camera but said the kids had a blast. They said it was well worth it just see them so happy. We took Glade and Addison once, but they were telling mom and dad that there was a tractor there. Funny how just one time going made such an impression on them. Mom forgot to take her camera so I don't have any pictures of their outing.
Thanks Grammy and Pappy for such a great visit! We can't wait to see you again!

Happy Birthday Andrew!

Last weekend we got to help Andrew celebrate his birthday! We had such a great time.Glade enjoyed holding the basketball and sitting in the chair. I love those chairs I just wish they weren't so pricey from PB! Guess I better start looking at craigslist!Addison loves the horse!

Before the party we took a trip to build a bear. I found a coupon so we decided it would be fun for the kids to make Andrew a bear for his birthday. I have to say that Saturday was probably not the best choice. There was a birthday party of about 15 kids, so it was LOUD! I had the bright idea that Glade and Addison would record a sound for Andrew's bear. We had to lock ourselves in the bathroom to record it. And of course the kids wouldn't talk! So I called my sister and had them tell her Happy Birthday so I could record it. Of course they wanted to tell her happy birthday, but had to add the Neice at the end. (That's what they call her.) So several tried later I got Addison to say happy birthday.

Here they are stuffing their animals.
They are giving their animals a name. Addison got a bunny that she named Yellow...because she really wanted to push the yellow button on the computer! Glade got a black bear that he named Blackie.

Fun with the camera!

We LOVE our new camera. I love the quality of pictures I can take and Tim loves the fact that he can just snap away using the burst. We could have a video just by him taking pictures! Here are some of my favorites from the last few days.

Glade with his hat. He loves hats!
(Kristina took this one playing with our camera!) Such a sweet boy. Who has suddenly found lots of vocabulary and is talking our ears off.
He even talks to strangers! Everyone is commenting on how much he is talking. Today at Walmart he told the checker "My daddy's at work!"
This boy loves his football. We play catch all the time...even in the house. He is talented, and I'm not just saying that because I am his mom...this boy can throw the ball! We are hoping for a good scholarship and NFL contract...well maybe just a scholarship!
Maybe he will be a kicker!

Then there is my sweet girl. I just love this picture she was running and would say "Watch me run. I running faster!"
Such a cutie! This was on one of the cold days last week. We went outside to get groceries and she wanted to go for a walk. So I grabbed my camera and down the street we went, but not for long. It was COLD!She loves to help me in the kitchen. Here she is putting away the silverware from the dishwasher! I know there will come a day when she won't want to, but I love this! She always comes in the kitchen and with her Texas drawl (we don't know where she gets it) says "I want to help you"
Enjoying the Sprite that Santa left in their stocking.
Here is what I have been doing. I painted the extra bedroom upstairs and made a Reading/TV room. Before this room was my craft room. Then we cleaned that out and moved the baby cribs in because it was going to be a nursery...well maybe someday! (I am praying for it!)
So now, it is our "relaxation room" I love how it turned out. But, cried as we put the baby beds in the attic.

My 200th post!

This is my 200th post so I thought I could do 200 pictures from our new camera. I transferred the 1037 pictures we have taken since getting the camera right before Christmas. I don't think I have the time today to do 200 pictures, but I will give you a sampling of the great pictures we are getting.

I know it wasn't 200 pictures, but it was a lot. I will do more later, but I have dinner to get ready. You can't have new year without black eyed peas and cabbage!
Happy 2010!
We are praying God will bless us beyond anything we could ever imagine!
