We've been busy!

My parents came to spend the weekend with us while Tim was in Ohio. I kept my dad busy with a list of stuff to do around the house. He finished everything! He's the best dad ever! He fixed our grill. Hung the storm door for the back door. Changed out the kitchen sink and faucet, put in the new dishwasher...that one wasn't on the list until the old dishwasher started leaking. He also helped paint our playroom. I am so happy with how it turned out!

Yeehaw! Cowboy and Cowgirl Day

Yesterday was Cowboy and Cowgirl Day at preschool. Here we are all dressed up. This is before we saddled up our horse and blazed a trail to school! The kids had a great time and were so cute. I made Addison's skirt and it turned out pretty cute...not as good as I had hoped, but it served it's purpose! This morning my dad was fixing the back door so it was open and out they went. Here is Glade playing with the dogs' water bowl.

Tim is in Ohio this weekend. He is going to enjoy a good weekend surrounded by thousands of Buckeye fans! We miss you! We will be watching for you on TV!

Addison and the ketchup

For dinner tonight we had hamburgers, so I cut up a hamburger patty for the kids and gave them a small amount of ketchup. Before we said our prayer, Little Miss Addison had all of her ketchup on her hands and was squishing it. Then she was mad because all of her ketchup was gone and her hands were dirty.

Glade got a hair cut

We decided to get Glade's hair cut. It was getting pretty long. We went to Kool Cuts on Friday. Here is how it went.

Happy Birthday Dylan, Drew and McKenna!

Today is my niece and nephews 1oth birthday. We went to their house for a party this weekend. Glade and Addison had a great time playing with their cousins.
I can't believe they are ten years old. It seems like just yesterday I was making the drive from Abilene to Dallas to be at the hospital when they were born. They have grown into such great kids! Their love for the Lord shows in all that they do! Happy birthday!

First Day of School

Today was the first day of preschool. Glade and Addison were awake early this morning. I heard Addison at 6:00 when I got up. They both had a great day. They were very tired this afternoon, even though they took a good nap, on their nap mats! I couldn't believe they layed down on the floor and went to sleep. My babies are not babies anymore. It makes me sad how quickly they are growing. It is amazing all the things that they are doing. God has truly blessed our family. Tim and I are so thankful for our two beautiful gifts from God!

Swing Set Fun

We got a swingset for our backyard. We got it on Friday afternoon. Tim didn't start until Saturday morning.

The beginning...

The swingset is almost complete as of 10:00 tonight. It's too dark to take a picture, I will get one in the morning. The kids have already had fun playing on the slide...before it was attached to the swingset. We let them slide once it was bolted on. I just didn't get pictures. I've got to get better at the picture taking!
