Just being silly

Lately Glade has been just silly. He is full of words. Everyone is commenting how much Glade is talking. It's so much fun to see their little minds at work. Addison has an ear infection and hasn't been feeling all that great. She hasn't been as silly as Glade, but she does have her moments. Like tonight, her foot got hurt so she was wiping it with a rag and kissing it! Just like Mommy did. The kids have officially traded beds. Glade will not sleep in his anymore and tonight I let Addison choose a bed and she chose Glade's. What little individual personalities they are getting.

Let me be the first to introduce the newest member of our family....Fish.
Isn't he cute! He was being cared for by the Children's ministry team at our church and no one really wanted him so I said we would take him.
The kids have really enjoyed watching Fish swim. They even helped me feed him. I did have to get the vacuum out after that. They sat there for about 15 minutes just watching Fish swim. Glade would scream and squeal every time Fish moved.

These are the cute curly bows I made for Addison. I love curly bows!

Last night Glade had to sit in the bumbo ON daddy. It was really funny!

Glade also had fun wearing Daddy's helmet. This helmet is very heavy, but he kept it on and even walked around.

Addison couldn't quite handle the helmet but this was just as good.

Look at that face! If he could ride on Daddy's motorcycle he would. He loves it!

We are getting ready for the big 2nd Birthday party. Can you believe it? They are almost 2.

Glade the climber!

We put Glade and Addison down for their nap today but they did not go right to sleep. They usually will stand in their beds and talk or play with each other. Tim and I were downstairs when we heard music from one of the toys in their room. We hurried upstairs and this is what we saw...

Glade had climbed out of his bed and was laying on the floor playing. We are surprised that he stayed in his room.

Caught Ya! Here he is in the act of getting out of bed

But he couldn't get down because we had moved the toy he used to step on to get down!So he just layed back down and is now asleep!
Addison had to give it a try herself.Just because she is SO cute! She always pulls her pigtails out which makes for some pretty crazy hair dos!

Glade and Addison playing in the box.

Check out Glade's bruise! He took a tumble in the kitchen. He takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'

We're in trouble now!

This is what I walked into when I got Glade and Addison up from their nap.

They had thrown all of their blankets and pillows out of the bed. BUT that isn't the best part...Glade was in Addison's bed! I wish I could have seen him do it!
We will have to start looking for big girl/boy beds!

Happy HEART day!

We have had a great day! We started the day with Heart Pancakes and heart canadian bacon. Then we ran some errands, rocked in some chairs and watched some basketball.
For dinner we are having heart shaped pizza and cookies. Glade and Addison got into the cookies before dinner!

This is what happens when you take the cookie away!

Look at that face!

We had corn on the cob the other night.

My parents were in town last weekend. While they were here, Dad and Tim ran some electric on our deck, built a bench and put up a fence for the dogs. Glade loved to hold the drill and be there to help!

Tim and I went out and mom and dad kept the kids. Here is what happens when Grammy and Pappy are in charge...
The kids eat cookies!

And we sit on the counter!

About our quest for more kids: I went on Friday for the trial transfer. Dr. Putman now has a map of my uterus! It looks like the transfer will be the middle of March. Thanks everyone for all your prayers during this time. We really appreciate them!

Lots to catch up on

Okay so there are lots of pictures to make up for how long it has been since I updated this blog. We have been busy and the kids have been making us laugh at all the new things they are doing and saying.

Here is Glade after Pajama day at preschool. This is Addison after Pajama day. She does so good keeping her up and her bows in until on the way home. Then, she yanks them out and gets left some crazy hair!
Addison loves to color and draw. She is so focused on it!
This is her latest piece of work. I wonder if any tattoo places are hiring. We could get her a job!
She made sure to get the bottom of her foot too!

Glade loves to play with the drill.

I have been busy sewing. This is the Valentine outfit I made for Addison.
Notice the sunglasses on her head. She wanted to be just like mommmy. I always have mine on my head!

These are some burp rags I made for a baby shower over the weekend. I am so proud of how they turned out. Now, I just need the embroidery machine to make them really cute!

I have been having fun making bows for Addison. Here is a recent one.

Glade and Addison watching Wheel of Fortune. They also like to watch Funniest Videos and American Idol!

Relaxing in the rockers and reading books.

Playing Peek-a-boo

Eating snack in...the pantry of course. It's like an all you can eat buffet!

All cozy on the couch

Sweet Addison saying "Cheese"

World Series here he comes!

Here Scarlet, have a drink!
(Scarlet is one of our dogs)

They have been doing so much and saying so much more. Glade especially is really starting to talk more. Addison is putting words together in simple phrases. She will tell you to come here by using her finger. It's the cutest thing. One day I was in the kitchen and could see her hand through the railing on the stairs telling me to come here. I heard her saying come on, but all I could see was her little arm sticking out and the finger moving to tell me to come! So CUTE!
Glade LOVES tools. He will use a screwdriver and actually try to unscrew screws on anything. He likes to make the drill work and he likes to bang things with a hammer...which so far, no holes in anything! Now, if he ever does get the real hammer, Oh boy!
We have started the process for having more kids. We should have good news by the end of March. Say some prayers that everything goes smoothly and we have a successful transfer!
