The "real" birthday

The real birthday was over Spring Break.  We headed to my parents house to celebrate!  The kids had fun riding their new skooters through the house since the weather was rainy while we were there.

An afternoon at the park

The kids have been asking to go to the park after school for about 2 week.  I have had to put them off because of rain or me working for two weeks straight.  So yesterday I loaded their bikes in the back of the suburban and picked them up from school.  They were so excited!

They hung around like monkeys!

 Climbed trees.

A bike ride is not complete without riding through a puddle!

This little girl is so proud to be riding without training wheels!  One of the girls in our neighborhood had an old bike that she had outgrown that had the peals taken off.  She practiced with that for a few days and then she took off on Glade's old bike!  She was so proud of herself!

Glade's Fishing date

While Addison was with Tim on her date.  Glade, Grammy, Pappy and I all went to the lake for a little fishing!  Glade wants so badly to catch a fish, but we just can't seem to find where the fish are biting!

So we ended up feeding the ducks!  Look at all of them!

Daddy Daughter Date

We love Chick Fil A.  We love how they encourage families to come out and spend time together.  We LOVE that they have a Daddy Daughter Date night each year!  Addison and Tim got all dressed up and headed out for their date!

This is not just a show up and eat dinner kind of date.  They arrived to a near by parking lot to catch the pink lemo ride to the restaurant.  There were waiters to take their order and then there was dessert.  Not just the standard icecream, but a chocolate fountain!  Oh, I wish I could have been there!  Tim made sure to tell the owners that there should be a Mommy Son date night too!

Christmas 2012

We had a white christmas this year!  It was so fun to be able to stay home and watch the snow.  We enjoyed getting out and the kids had lots of fun jumping on the trampoline covered with snow!

Christmas Eve and Morning

Christmas is not Christmas without a Christmas Eve Gift.  Every Christmas Eve in my family we tried to be the first one to say "Christmas Eve Gift" and sometimes we would get to open a present...but that means we had to beat Mom and Dad who got up way earlier than we did!
Our Christmas Eve had a gift too...New Christmas PJs!

Christmas morning came and the kids were so excited to open the presents and see what Santa had left them!

Santa, the leappads were a hit and still are!
