I had planned to get caught up and started looking at all that was missing since April and decided that was a bit much to do tonight...it is going to take several weeks well okay probably months if I ever get around to it. I will give you a little recap since April. I subbed a lot at the kids' school until school was out in June. We spent two weeks in Colorado in July. I had surgery in August and got a job teaching second grade! We started back to school in August and have been going non stop since. Glade is playing soccer again and loves it. Addison is in tumbling and really LOVES it! I am trying to keep my head above water getting used to being a teacher and a mom and just getting used to running a classroom again. Things have sure changed in the 6 years I stayed home!
The kids are doing great at the new school. They are not in the same class this year...we were on the waiting list to get in and I was worried we would be at different schools. Thankfully they got in the day of meet the teacher. They both miss their friends from last year but are doing good. I think they enjoy playing after school while I get my work done.These are some pictures from our First day of school!
