My good friend Kristina gave us tickets to the Ranger's game on Sunday, Sept 11. We left my sister's house Sunday morning and headed to the Ball Park. The kids were SO excited. We got there and found our seats...all the way at the top. It was nice though since those seats were in the shade and there was a slight breeze. We watched as the Rangers paid tribute to those affected by 9/11. As God Bless America and the National Anthem were sung I got goosebumps remembering back 10 years ago and that horrible day for our country. One of the people to throw out the first pitch was a 9 year old boy. Both of his parents were in the World Trade Center and both survived! Glade enjoyed watching the game. Addison...well...Addison played under the chairs, she threw candy down behind us, she wrote some words...she didn't care much for the game. Tim took Glade to a little activity park where he could hit a ball. He did great, even though the lines were long! Addison got tatoos as her activity. We had fun, but were really tired! It was good to get home and rest.
