First Sleepover

Addison got to spend the night with a friend for the first time last week.  She was beyond excited.  She told me exactly what pj's she wanted to pack, and she gathered up the toys and pillows she wanted too.  When Kinsley's mommy and daddy came to pick them up she was ready to go.  I have to admit I was a little concerned she would hesistate leaving with them, but she gave us hugs and said she would be good and then climbed right in the car.  I know she had a good time!  When we picked her up she was not ready to leave.  Holly said that they watched a movie that night and at one point Addison looked around and asked why they didn't have a brother!  Hopefully she will continue loving sleepovers.  I remember being a homebody and not enjoying sleepovers too much!

While Addison enjoyed her sleepover, Glade got some one on one time with mommy and daddy before our early morning trip to the hospital to get another tube put in his ear.  He lost the one in his right ear and was having some issues with fluid in his ear.  We went to get a special drink...Glade chose chocolate milk. Then we went to the store and Glade got to pick out a special car to take with him to the doctor.  Just like before Glade was FUNNY after taking his goofy juice.  We got some video of and once Tim gets it off his phone I will post it for you to enjoy!  He did great and will go for checkup in late July.  His first request after surgery was to go pick up Addison...followed by a quick request for donuts!  He sure missed his sister!
