Surgery times 2

Last Tuesday Glade and Addison both went in to have their adnoids removed and tubes put in their ears.  We are hoping this will help with all of the ear infections they were getting.  I was really nervous about the whole process and especially since both of the kids were having it done on the same day.  It went great!  The doctor said their adnoids were huge and it's great that we got them out!  We will watch them for the next 6 months and see if they are doing good and their tonsils shrink or we will be taking those out too!
The kids were fine until the check in lady wanted to put the ID bracelet on and then the screaming began.  Once we got the bracelets on they calmed down and we were taken back to get checked in.  They gave us gowns for the kids to wear...more screaming as we changed their clothes!  Then they gave us the "happy" medicine.  Addison took hers with no problem.  Glade on the other hand pitched a fit and refused to swallow.  We finally got it in him and he calmed down from there.  We were then taken to the pre-op holding area and that's when the fun began!  The happy juice was working and the kids were cracking us up!

Playing so nicely in the waiting area.
Then we had to get a bracelet.  The world has ended!
Trying to console Glade after he had to put on the hospital gown.
My happy little "burrito"
Glade finally calming down.
Aren't they so cute?

Oh my gosh, too funny!!! Addison was cracking me up! Hope the tubes help them...I know how constant ear infections can be. We love tubes so much, we've had 5 sets b/t the two kids!

Oh, and GREAT idea to have the video camera. Every time we go, I always wish I had brought mine, but I never have!
