Oh, Glade!

This picture sums Glade up pretty good.  He has a sweet tooth!  He loves him some cookies!  He takes after his Pappy and his namesake.  From what I hear Grandpa Reeder was a big eater.  These days Glade loves candy and cookies and pretty much anything sweet.  He had no interest in going on the potty until he figured out there were m&m's involved.  You should have seem sit on that potty and try so hard to just get a little bit out!  He's doing really good at it.  Not making it to the potty all the time, but from what I hear boys are hard to train.  He seems to get the concept, but just not the timing of it all.  We'll keep working.
Lately Glade has been the tester of all things.  You know the look of- I know you said no, but just how far can I go before you really do something.  That's Glade, unless he's alseep.  He's curious and smart.  He loves tools.  He likes to "help" whenever Tim is doing a project.  In fact we may be asking Santa to bring Glade his own cordless drill for Christmas.  Glade is definitely all boy.  If there is a ball somewhere he will find it.  I have been taking them to the kids club at the gym and everytime I go pick him up he's found the ball.  He loves it. And I have to say he's really good at it.  He can kick a football, hit a baseball and make a basket...sometimes better than me. (That's not saying much, but he's only two and half!)
I love that Glade likes to cuddle.  He'll come snuggle up in the chair or on the couch.
He's not as much of a talker as Addison, but he tries.  Sometimes he rattles off in a language we don't understand.  Or he'll say something in a really high pitched voice!  But sometimes when he says things, you just can't help but laugh.  The other day it was time to go take a bath and I was trying to get Glade to walk upstairs.  I said earlier he's testing everything...I had to give him pop because he just wouldn't do what I asked.  Without missing a beat he said "you're killing me!"  Where do they learn these things?  I couldn't stop myself from laughing!
I am so blessed to have such sweet kids.  I can't imagine my laugh without them!
