Thanksgiving 2008

We left last Sunday and went to my parent's house in Wimberley. The kids had a great time playing outside. Glade loved to throw the balls into the trees...just like his Daddy. (Tim got two balls stuck in the tree!) Glade also learned to throw the frisbee into the bushes...just like my sister Denise! Addison loved to sit on the kitchen counter while we were cooking. She also learned to say alright! Her biggest accomplishment would be going to the bathroom in the potty. She was very successful when we let her try. Several times she would point to her bottom and walk into the bathroom. She likes to sit on the potty, even with her clothes on. We would let her try before her bath each night and most nights she would tee tee in the potty and sometimes she even went poopy. Last night she wanted out of the bathtub to go poopy! Maybe we will be able to potty train her! So it's out to get a potty for our house tomorrow!
I had a great time with my niece and nephews. McKenna and Denise and I went exploring in the woods. You will have to ask McKenna what "a murt" is! (Sorry McKenna I just couldn't resist!) The kids raked the leaves at my Grandparents house and made a huge pile. I got buried in it too! I am so thankful that we got to spend so much time together and make some good memories!

The whole family

Glade and Addison in the bathroom...he did that all by himself.

Addison's new way to swing

Glade and the redneck basketball goal...yes, it is the top of a flower pot screwed to the post!
