Our first plane trip

We flew with the babies to Ohio last Friday and we came back on Monday. The babies did great on they plane. Everyone commented on how good they were. We spent Friday evening at Tim's cousin's house. They have an indoor pool and a brick oven for pizza. The pizza was so yummy! On Saturday Tim's cousin got married. The babies were so good for the ceremony. They sat there so quiet for the most of it. Addison made sure to get her voice heard. Glade perked up when the bagpipes came down the aisle. We went to the reception for dinner. Glade and Addison enjoyed the rolls and cake. Addison really liked the green beans and Glade likes the cantelope. It's one of his new favorites. It was a very long day for them by the end of the evening they were very tired. We took them into the entry area and let them crawl around. When the dancing started or course they had to dance with mommy and daddy. They both really like twirling in circles! Sunday we went to church and then back to the house for a nap. I tried to take one too, but Glade and Addison had other plans. Sunday night we went to dinner with the newlyweds and some other of Tim's cousins. We had a great time getting to visit with them. Glade was in rare form at the restaurant. He was screaming and throwing things. I think he had just had too much going on. We got the airport Monday and had some lunch. Addison threw up, and Glade threw his pants in the sink while getting his diaper changed. Of course the sinks had sensors, so his pants were soaked. We bought them cute Columbus outfits to change into. When we got off the plane, Addison was soaked through. Her diaper leaked. Of all times. So, I smelled of dirty diaper too! GROSS! We made it home and all layed down for a good nap. Then we all slept really good in our own beds! It was a great trip, but I'm not ready to do it again. We are slowly getting back to our routine. Glade and Addison are trying to catch up on sleep. Today they slept until 9:30 in the morning! I couldn't believe it. I got a shower and got dressed before they got up!

Here's what we can do now:

Glade

• Take 4 steps at a time. Then he gets excited and falls down.


• Stand up on his car.


• Curl up his nose and blow air out of his mouth. It's the cutest thing.


• DROOL!


• When he is upset he lays on the floor with his head in the carpet.


• Wave bye bye
  

Addison

• Take 2 steps. She tried really hard, but is not as steady on her feet as Glade


• Sing and dance to music. When she hears music she will start moving and singing her own little song.
  
• Says AHH AHH AHH AHH, like she is clearing her throat or pretending to cough.


• She loves to put things in her mouth. She will take the bottle caps and put them in her mouth so that they cover her nose and she looks like a pig.


• Wave bye bye and says dye dye dye dye
  
• She will hand you her food, then take it back
