The Adventures of Glade and Addison: Almost Better

We went to the Dr. on Monday because both Glade and Addison were sick. They have grown so much! Glade weighs 20 lbs. 8 oz. and Addison weighs 19 lbs. 5 oz. They are not always that accurate on the measurements because Glade and Addison are usually squirming. This time they measured Glade at 28 inches and Addison at 27 inches. It sure seems like Glade is more than one inch taller than Addison. I will have to check that myself.

Glade is feeling much better and Addison is on her way to recovery. Poor thing she had a stomach bug and then she got the crud that Glade had. Her last dose of medicine is tomorrow and I can already tell she is much better. She is sleeping in her bed tonight for one! Last night she felt so bad we couldn't lay her down. She wouldn't even settle down for Daddy. She only wanted her mommy. While I am flattered, I sure would have liked to sleep better last night. At one point in the night she was grabbing my face. I would move and then she would get a handful of hair. OUCH!

Glade is going everywhere. He knows no fear! He does get mad when he can't get something he wants or we take something away. Addison is now waving Dye Dye dydydydydy (Bye Bye). She even has her own way of saying it! It's so cute. They both have really been laughing at each other.

Tonight, I was holding them both after their bottle. Addison had her head on my shoulder and Glade was sitting on my leg. Glade really likes to suck his thumb and hold onto something~a blanket or burp rag~ when he is going to sleep. Well, tonight his thing of choice...the ruffles on Addison's PJ's :) I even gave him a blanket, but he kept going for the ruffles on her bottom. I sure wish I could have gotten a picture. Then they switched, Glade was laying his head on my shoulder and Addison decided to give him a nice big snotty kiss! Glade laughed. It is was such a sweet moment.
