We took our first vacation with the babies last week. We went to Eureka Springs, Arkansas with my parents. The babies did so good traveling. A few things I learned on the trip will help for future vacations :)
1. Don't lose the key to luggage carrier-thanks Dad!
2. Don't forget the wipes. Addison had several dirty diapers on the way there and I forgot to pack wipes in the diaper bag. Oops! Thankfully the truck stop had some!
3. I can fit in smaller spaces than I thought! The back seat was packed, and I fit!
4. When a brochure says 450 steps to the lake-don't believe them! The hike to the lake was far more than 450 steps and almost straight down the hill. BUT- I did it and I made it back up!
5. There are weirdos in every place- we went to downtown Eureka Springs and some hillbillies tried to sing, my dad could have done better, but someone still gave them $7. Maybe I should start singing on the street!
6. The Passion Play isn't so good when performed in the middle of a thunderstorm.
7. Roller coasters are still fun! Tim and I went to Silver Dollar City in Branson. We rode every ride in the park. Our favorite one we rode 4 times!
8. Pumpkin Butter is really good.
9. The water in Arkansas is VERY cold.
