I cannot believe it is almost halloween and I have not even put the first day of school pictures up yet. I have a good excuse...well, at least I feel a good excuse! I had all these kinds of great intentions the first week of school to get the blog updated, the house cleaned and organized and several other thing done. It all started off great. We got the kids off to school, Tim and I spent the morning running some errands and enjoying a good lunch just the two of us. Then I got a call from the school asking if I could sub the next day. I couldn't say no. So here starts the reason I am so behind. I have been subbing in a third grade class for almost the entire school year. I think there have only been 5 or 6 days I have not been in this class. I have to admit, I really love it. The class is great, the curriculum is fun and Glade and Addison are loving school. I only have a week and half left before the teacher will be back. I am dreading it. I really enjoy the class and have come to love it while I am at school! The problem is when I get home...I am having a hard time adjusting to full time work. It is such a balance that I have to get worked out.
So, stay tuned for lots and lots of pictures. Starting with the first day of school, then Glade's soccer games and trips to Grammy and Pappy's house.

Back To School Party
Last night our sweet friend Kinsley and her mommy, Holly, hosted a fun back to school party for the preschool gang. These kids have all been together since they were babies! My kids started in the nursery at preschool when they were 5 months old. They had a great time getting to play with each other. It was bittersweet for all the mommies as we said good bye to our preschool days and all go in seperate directions to our schools. We made plans to keep getting together!
Of course Addison would look down!
Best Buds!
Fun with Cousins
Last week we went to spend a few days with my sister and her family. We went to the swim club with them and the kids had a blast! They braved the high dive and then spend the whole time jumping in the pool. They were exhausted!
This is a regular expression for Addison these days. Oh how I love this strong willed girl!

Sewing
My latest sewing project. I made Addison a skirt. It turned out super cute. I used my yo-yo maker to decorate the shirt. I am hoping to get some more sewing done this week. I have a first day of school outfit planned!
Addison the "fashionista"
Addison put on a fashion show one day. How she learned to pose I will never know. She is such a girly girl though!
We loved the Olympics
These kids loved watching the olympics. They liked all of the events. Addison would jump and flip around while watching the women's gymnastics. Glade loved running and boxing...pretty much everything! One evening we went out and had our own running races. Sorry for the dark photos. We had to wait until almost dark to be able to get outside and not die from the heat!
