Birthday Party...Again!

Today was our family party! Glade and Addison have partied enough to know that party means presents and that is all they wanted today!  When we called them in to eat...they sat in their chairs for presents!  I think they both shouted Hallelujah when the it was finally time!

She got a big mirror for the playroom, so she can dance and make faces in it!
Glade got his Ohio State chair.  He asked to put his in his room just like Dylan and Drew.
 Cake time!

My sister was playing with the camera and got some cute pictures.

It's our 4th Birthday!!!

Today is the official day!  Our 4th birthday!  Today was also  wacky wednesday so to preschool we went! I just can't believe my babies are 4 already.  I had a rough night last night.  It seems strange that this birthday has made me so sad. I don't want to make this a teary eyed post, but I think I am struggling with this one because I know that we may not have any more children and my kids are growing up way too fast!
Enough of that...
A little birthday photo shoot!

 We are....

After wacky wednesday I took the kids to a yummy cupcake place here in town and they each got to pick their free birthday cupcake!
Then we went to On the Border for dinner.  They said the whole time they wanted them to sing to them for their birthday.  So the time came and what did our kids do???

They hid under the table!  Yep, they did.
Then we all enjoyed the huge brownie sundae!
(I have pictures, they are just on the other camera and it is in the car.)

I am going to post about each child a little later...

Birthday Playdate

This year I decided to host a playdate for Glade and Addison's birthday.  We had never had any kind of "kid" party so I thought this would be a great one to start with.  The kids all came over and had a blast playing outside and in the playroom.  It was a good time for the mommies to relax and enjoy some adult time too!
I just can't believe how grown up they are getting!
Playing football...and yes I spray painted the yard as a football field and we built a goal post!
 She loves the swing!
They were so excited about the presents.  They didn't know they would get presents from their friends!  I wish you could have seen them...Addison was jumping up and down in this picture she was so excited!
 The cheerleaders showing their stuff!
 Eating lunch...pizza and cookie cake

It was so funny, they got so shy when their friends sang happy birthday to them!

Fun with Friends

On Monday our friend Kinsley came over to play while her mommy went to the dentist.  They had such a good time.  They jumped on the trampoline for little bit, but it was really chilly so they spend more time in the bounce house upstairs.
 They watched Strawberry Shortcake.
 And played dressup!
Aren't they the cutest little princesses ever?   I might have gotten scolded for allowing Glade to dress up like this...but it was all his choice and how could I tell him no?

Fun Day with Friends

On Monday AJ and Samantha came and spent the day with us.  They all had so much fun.  They played outside and jumped on the trampoline.  We painted and had a picnic at the park.  Glade and Addison were worn out...so was their mommy!  These four play so well together.  We love having them over.

 Lily enjoyed playing outside too!

Happy Early Birthday

Grandma came over last night to give the kids their birthday presents. She is leaving on Monday to spend some time with her sister in Arizona. The kids were so excited to get their light up shoes. They have stomped all over the place to see the lights flash. Thank you Grandma for making this early birthday so fun!

You guessed it...Another Snow Day!

We had another snow day on Wednesday of this week.  So we had a pajama day and did some Valentine Crafts!

The kids made a votive candle holder by glueing some tissue paper on.

We had special Valentine Lemonade...complete with heart shaped ice cubes.  The kids loved "clinking" their glasses together.  They would put them together and say "Clink"

While the kids napped I finished up the cakeballs I was making for a friend who was hosting a dinner.  I think they turned out so good!  Maybe I should start a business...or not!  That is a lot of work!
My little monkeys after their bath!
Now, the house is quiet.  The kids are with Grammy and Pappy for the next few days.  Hopefully I can get a lot of stuff on my to do list done!
