What they do when I'm not looking...

While I was loading the dishwasher today, my little monkeys were climbing on the dog house!I love the expression I caught. "What's the big deal mom?"This little one took off her shoes and socks and climbed in the sand box to dig her feet in the sand! She played in there for a long time! What the pictures don't show is all the colored rice they dumped out of the rice tub onto our deck. It seems the dogs enjoy eating rice...at least I won't have to clean it up!

Turkeys!

Today was our Thanksgiving Feast at Preschool. The two year olds were the turkeys. They sang a song and then got to enjoy a feast. There are two videos of the song. Make sure you pause the music at the bottom so you can hear the video!

The joys of 2 two year olds!

Oh, these two kids have been entertaining lately. I really need to write down all the things they say lately. They keep us laughing for sure. It's a good thing because if not we would be crying! They are testing the limits. Just today I had music playing on the computer and Glade kept touching it and messing it up. I told him if he touched the computer again he would get a pop and sit in time out. He looked at me with his cute little grin and his little finger inching closer to the computer and said "I'm touching it." Talk about one mad momma! Hopefully he learned his lesson and won't do that again! They just come up with some of the craziest things and it's usually when they are together.
Some things they have done recently...painted with vaseline, painted with lotion, painted with paint, painted with fingernail polish...are you seeing a pattern...they like to paint! Unfortunately for me they also like to make messes! Just tonight Addison tore all the flaps out of a lift the flap book, while she was supposed to be in bed sleeping.
They are just too cute to stay mad at for too long! Just look and see.
Addison curled in a basket of clothes eating her breakfast of cheese toast. (sorry the picture is a little blurry.)Glade poking his finger in his cheese toast. Look at that expression! He is gonna break some hearts one day!My tough guy! They love to sit in the cradle. I think they think it is a boat. Addison has decided she doesn't like to wear clothes right now. Here is what I found just a few minutes ago. Sound alseep, both of them in Addison's bed. I love that they will always have each other. They are best friends. It's the sweetest thing to listen to them talking and playing together...even though they have their moments of fighting. But what siblings don't fight?

Halloween 2009

For Halloween this year Glade and Addison were Raggedy Anne and Andy. My mom did a great job with their costumes! I got so many compliments! Here are some pictures of the kids first time to go trick or treating. Our friends came over with their little giraffe and went with us. They three little ones were so cute walking up to the doors. Addison has since walked down the street saying candy...I had to explain that we only go get candy on Halloween!

Here are some pictures that Scott took. I love their camera and will start saving my pennies so I can get one too! It's like professional pictures all the time!

Mowin' and Music Monday

Here are some pictures from this weekend. Glade and Addison helped Tim mow the back yard.

Sunday after church while I was cooking lunch, Addison put on a show in front of the oven. I love it! Don't forget to go to the bottom of the page and turn the music off! You have to here my baby girl sing!

Fun in the mudbox!

Yesterday Glade and Addison enjoyed the cool weather to play in our mud sandbox.  I was getting dinner cooked while they played outside.  There was lots of talking and laughing.  I love the interaction of these two.  They truly are best friends!  It is so much fun to see them playing together.  Most of the time they play well together.  Sometimes though, it seems like war!

Glade, did you eat sand?

Maybe...but look at how cute I am mommy!  I'll even say cheese.

This is what normally happens when we try to take Glade's picture these days!

I have more pictures from our weekend at Grammy and Pappy's but I have to get the camera out of the car.  I also have to makes sure my parents bring their camera so I can get some from them too.  Our little camera "exhausted battery" in the middle of our trip to the pumpkin patch in Marble Falls.  So, Mom, if you read this before you leave tomorrow...bring Glade's jacket and your camera!  Please?!?!
