We love our doctor!

Especially this week. I took Glade on Wednesday because he had a really yucky sounding cough. He has a sinus infection so he got antibiotics. While I was there I asked for meds for Tim too because he also had an infection. Our wonderful doctor wrote me a prescription for Tim! Not many drs will do that. Well, we get to go see him again today. Yesterday Addison's eye started oozing green stuff. As the night progressed it kept getting worse. This morning her eye was all crusty and swollen. Hopefully we will get something to help clear that up. She screams every time we try to wipe it. So it must hurt her. Poor baby. There is a picture below!
Update on our house... we had people come look at on Wednesday. Later that evening our realtor called and said it was the couples' favorite and that they were going to bring their parents back this weekend to see it. We have our fingers crossed we will get an offer in the next few days! Then it will be time for us to really search for a new house. We have been casually looking on line and at model homes, but once we get the offer we will have to get serious about it!
I just realized the time... I better get ready for the dr. appt. I will update on Addison's eye and add pictures when we get home!
Update: Addison has an infection in her eye. Our dr. said it is a little more than just pink eye. She is on an antibiotic for 3 days and eye drops for 7 days. She has been pretty fussy today, so it must be bothering her. Her eye already looks better than this picture though! Poor baby!

We played outside yesterday evening. Glade is not too fond of the dogs yet, they come up to him and he gives them "the look". It is very funny.

Long Weekend

We had a great weekend. Friday we had dinner with some friends and then played Uno Attack. It is a very fun game. The amount of cards one person can get is hilarious! Just ask Ben Stephens! Sunday we went to another friends house for lunch. She was so sweet to have us over. Monday we cooked hamburgers and hot dogs and had Ben and Dixia and Ben and Kristina over. We played Uno Attack again. Then we played Hoopla which is a very fun game too. It was so much fun to hang out with our friends! Thanks everyone for coming and hanging with us.

I went to the mall this morning to get the babies some new pj's. We stopped at the play area before the rain came in. They love to sit on the bouncy thing!

Swimming, real estate and more!

I haven't posted in a while because we have been busy decluttering our house. We put it up for sale. We need something bigger, the toys are taking over. So far we have had one person come look at it. Hopefully it will sell fast and we can find something bigger! Grammy and Pappy came to visit this week. They had lots of fun with Glade and Addison. Just look and see!

We've had a busy week. Since we just on a whim decided we want to sell our house. I have to say it is very clean right now. We still have some painting and touch ups to do this weekend. Today was our last day of preschool. It's hard to believe the year is over. It was such a fun year, I really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and getting to do what I love...teaching. I worked with a lot of wonderful women. I look forward to next year. I can't believe though that my babies will be in a class. They are growing too fast!

Yard work

On Saturday we were working on our flower beds out front. We put the big play yard gates together and stuck the babies in for them to play while we worked. They love to play with boxes, so I put the box from the edging in with them. Scroll through the next pictures, it's just like a video!:)



Yes, they were taking turns eating the box! I promise we do feed them! After getting the pictures I took the box away. I guess they needed some fiber?

Walking, talking, and snuggling

Glade has been walking for about a month now, but Addison has just really started trying the last few days. I sat down today at lunch during preschool and their teacher asked me when she started walking and talking. :) Addison has really found her voice and loves for EVERYONE to hear her! We went to Petco the other day and I walked them around to look at all the different animals. She really liked that and was getting really loud talking to them. She has started trying to say "uh-oh" but she never gets it all out. She either says "uh" or "oh" but doesn't get them together. It's so cute. She loves to say it as she throws something out of the grocery cart. At least I get my exercise.
Glade has really loved his pillow and especially his pillowcase at bedtime. One day this week he got the pillowcase off of the pillow. He walks around with the pillowcase a lot. It is so cute. He holds it in his hand and sucks his thumb. He has also become very fond of the extension tubes for the vacuum. He will walk around with both of them and try to hold his pillowcase. It's pretty funny! Yesterday he carried around a toy hammer all day. He found one at preschool today and his teachers said that was his favorite thing today. They also said he would try to get a toy from Addison and she started hitting him. Of course that didn't phase Glade so she then started to pinch him. He has several teeth impressions from Addison already. Whatever Addison has, Glade wants!
