Snow Day

We got to stay home today because of the winter weather.  We got quite a bit of sleet last night.  We got to sleep in and stay in our PJ's most of the day.  I got the chance to clean a lot...thanks to Addison.  Poor thing was sick this morning.  She is better now and keeps asking for something to eat.  She got some crackers, but I am a little nervous to give her anything else.

Glade and Addison love using my little camera to take pictures.  They take pictures of everything.  Each other, us, their feet, their toys...you name it they have taken a picture.  To the point where we might need to lock the bathroom door behind us when they have the camera!

Pump it Up!!

Monday we decided to go try Pump It Up Jr.  We had to wait a little bit to get in, but I think the kids had a lot of fun.  They loved the slide.  They ended up sliding together.  I love how they have become such great friends.  Most of the time they are so sweet to each other.  But they do have their moments!

Happy Birthday Grandma!

Wednesday was Grandma's birthday so we surprised her with a cupcake!

Which was torture for me, since I chose not to eat one and stick to my Weightwatcher plan!

Happy Birthday Pappy!

Saturday was my dad's birthday. So we all got together to celebrate Pappy! It was so good to be with family and not have the stress of the Holidays. But we can't get together with Pappy without him doing work. He has to fix a water leak in my sister's backyard. We found the perfect card for Dad too. All about how he taught us to ask him to fix things. Dad is such a good Mr. Fix it. No matter what he can usually do it. For that we are so very thankful. Not only did he fix the water leak, but he came back to our house to fix Tim's car too...in the snow nonetheless! Pappy is the best! He had lots of fun helping the kids build a snowman on our trampoline. We love you Pappy and hope you had a great birthday weekend!

Abilene Zoo

This past weekend we went to Abilene to celebrate my dad's birthday. Saturday while the guys fixed a what could have been major problem with a water leak, we took the kids to the zoo. I couldn't believe how much the zoo has changed since I have been there. It is such a good zoo, especially for Glade and Addison. Makes me want a membership to the Dallas Zoo once the weather gets warmer!

 The monkeys!  One monkey slid down a rope and Addison said "That was so awesome!"

 Addison developed a loud ear piercing scream while at the zoo.  It seems her shoes were too lose and she kept walking out of them or falling.  She had a rough day for sure.  Her fall tally ended up being about 4 or 5.
