Pictures, Pictures, Pictures

Yes, it is 4:30 AM and NO, I am not asleep like I should be. My super cute, super sweet daughter decided she didn't want to sleep tonight. So, after me rocking her, Tim rocking her, a good dose of Motrin and some ear numbing drops just in case...she wanted water! Now she is tucked in bed, all is quiet and I am...updating the blog! Here are recent pictures from the last couple of weeks.
Today, Glade decided to ride his bike like Daddy. With gloves!

Addison gave it a spin too!

I just love her expressions in the next few pictures. She definitely has a good personality.

Scooping the colored rice.

Last weekend we went to our cousin Ciara's championship basketball game. They played hard, but lost by 1 point. We are still proud of her and her team! Way to go Wildcats!

Glade wanted bows like Addison, but settled for a hat.

Glade found the cookie jar.

And yes, all that bed rest paid off.

Well, my super sweet daughter is up again! UGH!

Bedrest oh, Bedrest

How soon have I forgotten what bedrest is like. I have today left and then I can get up. How in the world did I do this for so long before Glade and Addison were born? Our embryo transfer was Sunday and things went well. Both embryos looked good. One was 100%, the other 90%. We will find out if they decided to stay next week. I am praying hard that they decided to stick around and join our family! I have been watching tv, playing on the internet and reading. I have also had a cold, so with the aid of Benadryl I have taken some really good naps! I miss my kids! My mom and dad are keeping them busy. I talk to them at least twice a day. Addison started out the week at their house sick. I felt so bad not being able to take care of her. She is better now and loving on her Grammy and Pappy. They have been having lots of fun. They went to play at the brand new McDonald's in Dripping Springs. Mom said they found a picture of Tim and I were naming Mommy and Daddy! So sweet. I talked to them little bit today, Addison said Hi Mommy! and then was gone to play. Glade didn't say much but mom said he smiled! I can't wait until Friday when I get to see them again. A week is too long!
Say some prayers for my friend Carrie and her triplets. They were born a couple weeks ago. Garrett will be coming home this week, but the girls will be in the NICU for a while longer. Little McKenna had some issues with a brain scan that has the doctors concerned. They will repeat the scan in the next week or so. Please pray that the next scan comes back normal!
Here are some pictures from last week.
Glade and Addison took their umbrellas to school for the Umbrella Parade

Addison has decided she likes to walk in my shoes. Preferably those with heels! She is just like her cousin McKenna!

Watching a little TV in the rockers...I think it was veggie tales

Sneak Peak

We had our family pictures done yesterday. Mainly just to get pictures of the kids now that they are two! Here are few. We went to the Farmer's Branch Historical Park. It is a very cool place. A lot of our pictures are taken in a tunnel of trees. We plan to go back when it is not so cold and let the kids enjoy it more.

Big Kids in Big Beds

I got the mattresses today for the big beds. After preschool Glade, Addison and I went to Penney's and got the bedding. They had so much fun playing on their new beds this afternoon. They would lay on the pillow and say "Night, Night"
We went to pick up the rails we found on Craigslist tonight while Tim was taking apart the baby beds. When we got home Glade saw the beds in pieces and looked a little sad. Then I told him he gets to sleep in his new bed. He smiled really big, clapped and said "Yea!" So cute! Addison is not as thrilled. She has already been up fussing tonight. Hopefully she is down for the rest of the night. Keep your fingers crossed for us!

Lounging together in Addison's new bed

She had so much fun doing "seat drops" on the bed

He looks comfy! Glade was the first to fall out of bed...it only took a few minutes! We do have rails now, so no falling out of bed in the middle of the night!
These are from earlier in the week when the weather was nice and warm. They love running around on the deck outside!

The race is on!

Look at that face!
Not 10 seconds after I took this picture, Glade let go and Addison hit the deck! We learned the lesson that the play shopping cart is not good to sit in.

I went to the dr. today and things are going good. Our embryo transfer will most likely be Friday, March 20. Please say some prayers for us. We are hoping for another successful transfer.

FIESTA!

Can you believe it's birthday party time again? It seems that this year has flown by! Saturday we had a Fiesta for Glade and Addison's 2nd birthday. Most of our family was able to be there. It was lots of fun!

Yummy cake! Glade had fun with the spoon, Addison was not that into it. It took her a while to start eating hers. I think Glade just enjoyed digging in, I don't think he ate that much of his cake.We had a great time. The kids got lots of new toys that will keep them busy for hopefully a long time! Now, I just need to organize and put away some of our old toys!
